Profile: Charles Golding
Charles is a media professional, with three decades experience in front of and behind the camera, microphone and in print, writing, producing and editing in radio, TV, social media and websites. An international public speaker and published author and columnist, Charles runs his own media and presentation service for people from all walks of life, from politicians, businessfolk, celebrities and office executives in the UK, Israel & America.
Charles began his career in the media as a researcher for Sir David Frost, before becoming a producer and presenter at TV-am. He was Good Morning Britain’s movie critic for three years, working as a presenter and reporter, and guest presenter and producer on the Wide Awake Club.
During this time he wrote a popular newspaper column in the Jewish Chronicle, Going with Golding and scripted and presented a video review on Sky Lifestyle TV, The Video Show. Charles became a producer on Channel Four's, Business Daily then moved to the Sunday Mirror where he was features editor. He worked at the Sunday Express as features editor then executive editor, and rose in three years to become the paper's deputy editor. He returned to broadcasting two years later, producing and presenting The Computer Show for BBC1 Daytime TV.

He joined London News Radio in 1996 as controller of programmes, successfully relaunching the station as LBC. Two years later he took up the full-time role of presenting his own shows, alongside running his media training company, Bowtie Media. Charles worked as editorial & content director of the interactive TV company, Yoomedia (Mirada) plc for four years, then he became editorial director of Totally plc, where he was editor-in-chief of the Boston Jewish Advocate in the USA, the Jewish News in the UK and the Jewish News Online.
Charles became director of communications & marketing for Norwood, one of Europe's largest special needs charities, and continues his media & presentation training at Bowtie Media, while still active in the media in Israel and the UK. His recent clients in Israel include Imperva, Foamix, FuturaGene and Mayor Oded Revivi; in the UK Adath Yisroel Synagogues, Federation of Synagogues, Eskenzi PR, Wave-Tricity, Dr Phillip Lee MP, and Jewish Free School.
